Debrae studied Musical Theater at Kent State University and Akron University. She studied Business at Cuyahoga Community College. While living in Los Angeles, Debrae studied Film Acting under Lylian Chauvin and Vocal Training under Lee and Sally Sweetland. She also attended the Commercial Acting School of Teppers and Gallegos.

Debrae is actively writing songs under her publishing company, Dbarens Publishing and is the owner of Crusader Records, LLC, the Independent Record Label for her new CD, Desperate Heart, available in Borders Stores, Barnes and Noble, CDBaby.com and Amazon.com.
